Aesthetics of danger. Today I came across the deepest darkest red I ever saw on a strawberry. And while it seems to be not so unusual, it did make me wonder about stronger sun rays forcing fruits to develop higher levels of anthocyanin and richer colors to protect their skin. And more generally of beings progressively modifying their bodies, their DNA, along their behaviors, to protect from the development of a crisis that we have already for long been witnessing.
